How bad is non-stick cookware for birds?
Today I found out that we have been using non stick pots and pans for years and we have been using a George Foreman grill and the problem is, we have nine parrots in the house. I know non stick is terrible for birds, and I tried telling my mom that, but she won't listen to me. She has 3 parrots and loves them very much and knows that non stick is bad, but she won't listen to me. I have 6 parrots and I love them very much and I don't want them to die from the non stick cookware and George Foreman grill. Mom says that it's fine that we use non stick cookware because because we don't use it at excessive temperatures, but I don't think so. How bad is the non stick cookware for birds and will my birds be okay? If I need to get rid of all the non stick cookware, how do I persuade my parents into throwing it out? Also the types of parrots we have is a double yellow headed Amazon, a goffins cockatoo, a cockatiel, 4 budgies, a green cheek conure, and an african grey parrot if that helps.

People that collect vintage cookware -- do you use it or not?
if you collect that vintage cookware like kromex spice set or vintage pyrex, kitchen utensils, or cathrineholm, etc...do you use it personally? are you SUPPOSED to use it? I want to collect Franciscan starburst but I don't know if I should be using it or setting it on a shelf somewhere. If kind of feels wrong to pay so much money to use it but in a way feels wrong to pay so much money not to, LOL. ty.PS what vintage cookware do you collect btw, just curious.

How to cook on the stove with glass cookware?
In an effort to try to rid my kitchen and food of toxins, I decided to purchase some visions glass cookware but I'm not used to cooking on my stove top with glass. Obviously sauces and other water based foods are no problem to figure out but I have a skillet and tried to make hashbrowns on them this morning and just ended up with a burnt mess.I read that glass takes longer to heat up but retains heat longer so I assume that I just need to cook on lower temperatures but I can't really find a website with suggestions on how to cook with glassware probably because it is just so uncommon nowadays . Any tips would be greatly appreciated Thanks
