Ruffoni copper cookware?
Do you like Ruffoni Copper Cookware or not? I personally think the PRICE is WAYYYYY overrated, but the quality seems great. I like the Williams Sonoma line, with the acorn lids, but wow, the price really is obscene I have one piece that I've yet to cook in for fear of " messing it up" .Do you have any of the Ruffoni line, and if so, do you like it and what do you think of it?
Where can I have my Cordon Bleu copper cookware reconditioned?
I have have copper Cordon Blue cookware with a tin type material lining them. The lining is worn away and damaged in some spots and I would like to have either Cordon Bleu recondition them or have them suggest who might recondition them. How much would this cost ball park?
How to clean the inside of copper cookware?
I know you can use a variety of things to polish the OUTside from lemons and salt to Brasso, but my concern is cleaning the INside of these pots and pans. Its not copper, its something silver colored, and its incredibly tarnished black from non use for X amount of years Its almost like its stained black or something.any ideas?
How do you remove the protective seal from new copper cookware?
I am about to purchase copper cookware from an individual. The set is new and never used to cook with. I person says that I have to remove the protective seal first before using the cookware. Does anyone know about this procedure? Also, if you know...what is the fastest and easiest way to do this? Thanks very much for any help I can get on this subject.
How much is my copper cookware worth?
I have a 10 piece set of copper cookware with stainless steel coating on the inside. On the handle of each piece it says only, " O.D.I. Made in Korea." From the research I've done it seems like it might be made by a company called Old Dutch International, but it doesn't seem like they've made copper cookware for a long time. If anybody can help me find some information about this it would be great... I'm broke and trying to sell off things that are too decadent or that I don't need. Thanks.
Can I use Kitchenaid (stainless steel & copper) cookware on ceramic cooktops?
I bought these pots & pans because they're really beautiful and were on sale, but I see that they are not recommended as the copper can apparently fuse on the cooktop. Is anyone using this cookware on a ceramic cooktop? Also, how can we prevent the copper from discoloring? Thanks
